Celiac Sprue – Small Bowel Disease

Celiac Sprue is a much more common chronic bowel disease than was thought in the past. The symptoms include diarrhea, abdominal pain, bloating, gas, anemia and patients with this disease have a higher incidence of Lymphoma(cancer). Upper endoscopy with small bowel biopsy is the most accurate way to diagnose this condition.
